My 2022 wedding season ended exactly where it started: at the beautiful Black River Barn in South Haven, MI. This year I’ve been so fortunate to capture so many fairytale weddings for amazing couples and let me tell you friends, this wedding was no exception and was absolutely incredible! I’m honored and excited to share Kylie and Evan’s Winter Black River Barn wedding with all of you today!
When I first sat down with Kylie and Evan to discuss their vision for their December wedding, our minds quickly thought “it would be SO pretty if it snowed!” Well my friends, that wish was granted! The night before their big day South Haven was covered in a fresh blanket of Pure Michigan snow. The emerald greens and fur shawl paired so beautifully and aesthetically with the powdery white snow.
Although is was cold outside, it was delightfully warm and cheerful within the barn walls. Laughter, Christmas Music, and a savory aroma from the hot chocolate bar filled the air. During the course of the reception, heavy snow began to fall. We quickly raced outside to take advantage of the snow. It was absolutely magical! (See for yourself at the bottom of the page).
Kylie: those of us who were there truly believe that snowfall was no coincidence. I wholeheartedly believe we both know who was responsible for creating the most magical ending to one of the most celebratory days of your life. Your mom would be so proud.
Kylie and Evan: It has been such a pleasure getting to know the two of you over these last six months. You are so incredibly kind and your relationship is so inspiring. There is no doubt that God has special plans for your beautiful souls. Enjoy this small glimpse into your magical, snow filled, wedding day!
