Happy Friday, Friends! I’m so excited to share Janelle and Nelson’s Wedding with all of you today! Their wedding was my last summer wedding of 2022, and my very first solo wedding in downtown Grand Rapids. Needless to say, I cannot wait to go back!

If you recall from Janelle and Nelson’s Engagement Session, they traveled all the way to Michigan (from their home in Nebraska) to get married at Grand Rapid’s Downtown Market. Although our beautiful sun decided to shine through the brilliant glass of the market greenhouse, directly onto both Janelle and Nelson at the precise moment of their ceremony, their wedding was intimate and beautiful. In the presence of their friends and family, Janelle and Nelson exchanged personal vows and solidified their eternal commitment to one another. Afterwards they danced the evening away and even had a surprise visit from the “Village People” (aka – their Groomsmen). Everything, down to the very last detail, was absolutely perfect.

Janelle and Nelson: Thank You SO much for allowing me to play a small part in your most special day. From the time we all stepped foot together on the beach at Warren Dunes until the final images were snapped on your wedding day, you’ve been such a pleasure to work with. I’m honored that you had the utmost faith in me to memorialize your wedding day. Your love story is precious and after spending more time with you I can see that you two were destined to spend your lives, together. I hope you had the best time on your honeymoon in Greece and I wish you nothing but the best as your continue your life-long adventure together from the plain state of Nebraska.
