Happy Friday, Friends! Sharing Courtney and Kyle’s Wedding at Allure on the Lake with all of you today!

Courtney and Kyle’s wedding was my FIRST official out of state wedding, and it was AMAZING! Allure on the Lake is a gorgeous venue near Lake Michigan, nestled in North West Indiana. Allure officially re-opened their “On the Lake” location in January 2022 and their venue is absolutely beautiful! With a modern-elegant look, this venue gives you all of those “wedding day” vibes. I personally hope to photograph another incredible wedding at this venue in the near future.

From “Getting Ready” to their “Grand Entrance,” Courtney and Kyle’s wedding day was perfect. We could not have asked for better weather in late August, as we had an abundance of gorgeous sunshine. Family and friends gathered in Allure’s beautiful indoor ceremony space to witness their nuptials. After we finished photographing all their beautiful outdoor portraits in the pretty natural golden light, their entire wedding party was introduced to Garth Brooks’ “Ain’t Goin’ Down (‘Til the Sun Comes Up), and it was a blast! If you recall from their engagement session, Courtney and Kyle share of a love of country music (and I’m here for it). Before getting their “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” on, we captured just a few more lovely portraits under the lights near the lake. It. Was. Beautiful.

Courtney and Kyle: What else can I say about the two of you!? You two are so fun and full of life, and your love story is beautiful and true to you. From the very beginning you have been such a delight and a pleasure to work with and I cannot speak highly enough about your sweet and kind families. I’m almost certain we’ll cross paths again at a Country Concert, someday! Enjoy this small glimpse into your perfect wedding day.
