Happy Tuesday, Friends! In the midst of busy season I’m thrilled to share Crystal and Jake’s Riverwalk Place Summer Wedding with you, today!

This was the first opportunity I’ve had to photograph a wedding in Central Michigan and let me tell you, it was beautiful. With temperatures peaking in the mid 90’s, it certainly felt like Crystal and Jake tied the knot on one of the hottest days of the summer. Surrounded by their family and friends, they made their lifetime commitment to one another in front of a beautiful gazebo along the winding Cedar River. They had a beautiful horse draw carriage parade them around the venue following the ceremony, and spent their evening partying away to the beat of DJ Crystal! Yes, you read that correctly. Crystal did step in to assist DJ her own wedding. It was very cool!

Crystal and Jake – it has been a pleasure getting to know you over the last 9 months. From your engagement session to your wedding day, you’ve been trusting of my vision, patient, kind, and incredibly amazing to work. You two are perfect for one another, and I hope that your relationship continues to grow and flourish. I wish you nothing but the best with your move from Michigan to Florida! As you’re aware, you’ll have many more warm and humid days ahead of you, so it was fitting that you experienced similar weather on your beautiful wedding day.
