Happy Friday, Friends! What’s better than one engagement session on Belle Isle? How about two of them in the same week!

The Isle is so pretty this time of year, and couldn’t help but suggest to my sweet couples that we take advantage of how amazing the Isle looks in the Spring. I’m beyond excited to share Jojo and Zach’s Belle Isle Engagement Session with you today!

Jojo and Zach first met their freshman year of high school, in 2011. Jojo first caught Zach’s eye in their computer tech class and he eventually asked her to homecoming that year. They grew up together, watched each other play sports, and even took driver’s ed class together. For their first year of college, Zach was home continuing his love for hockey and Jojo went to GVSU. Even though they were long distance they both knew in their hearts they had something that would last forever. As Jojo explained, through their ups and downs they’ve never questioned whether or not they would spend their lives together.

Zach proposed to Jojo in a beautiful vineyard on September 18, 2021 – a moment everyone (especially Jojo) had been waiting for after 10 years together. Even though she had been waiting, she was still shocked when it happened. Especially when she realized they were surrounded by over 60 friends and family members who had traveled from all over the U.S. to be there that day. When Zach proposed, Jojo said YES of course! The rest of the night was a dream filled with (in Jojo’s words) “an amazing sunset, great wine & food, the best company, and so much love.”
